La Fondazione Rijssens Leemspoor gestisce una ferrovia museale nella città di Rijssen, nell'Overijssel. Il museo racconta la storia della ferrovia a scartamento ridotto nel settore dell'industria dei mattoni dentro e intorno a Rijssen.
Un secolo fa, a Rijssen c'erano circa 15 fabbriche di mattoni, delle quali quattro erano rimaste negli anni '60. Queste avevano, fin dall'inizio del XX secolo fino al 1964, una linea ferroviaria a scartamento ridotto per trasportare l'argilla dalla cava alle fabbriche. La prima ferrovia a scartamento ridotto, di circa 4 chilometri, è stata inaugurata nel 1907. Alla fine, tra Rijssen e Markelo, esisteva una rete di scartamento ridotto di circa 12 chilometri di lunghezza.
