Maasbree) es un lugar y antiguo municipio en Limburgo neerlandés. El lugar tiene aproximadamente 5000 habitantes y 1500 en la zona rural. Maasbree forma parte del municipio de Peel en Maas.
En la Edad Media, Maasbree pertenecía al condado de Kessel, que a su vez era parte del Overkwartier de Gelre o el Alto Gelre español. Como en todas partes en esa época, la agricultura y la ganadería eran el principal medio de subsistencia en Maasbree. Durante la Guerra de Sucesión Española alrededor de 1702, el área fue ocupada por tropas prusianas, y así permaneció como parte de Alto Gelre prusiano durante aproximadamente un siglo en alemán.
