't Kegelhuis (más tarde Hotel Aaldering) en Zeddam fue demolido en octubre de 2006. En el mencionado folleto con vistas de 's-Heerenberg y Zeddam se indica en la foto número 57: "Antes de caminar por la calle Benedendorpstraat, pasamos primero por la casa de Th. van Remmen. Así era al menos en 1910, cuando se tomó esta foto. Más tarde fue propiedad de la familia Bieleveldt, que a su vez traspasó el inmueble a los actuales propietarios, la familia Aaldering."
Aaldering no adoptó el nombre 't Kegelhuis de Bieleveldt porque en la guía telefónica estás antes en la A que en la K!
La foto se ha conservado, pero el inmueble fue demolido en 2006.
Según Ben Herfkens, ya había una casa en este lugar antes de 1650. Antoon Smits fue panadero allí de 1866 a 1875. Su hija María se casó con Th. (Theodorus) van Remmen.
