La estación es el punto de partida de la Línea Betuwe Oriental, aunque el servicio de tren en esa línea comienza en Arnhem.
La estación de Elst tiene 3 andenes, una sala de espera y algunas marquesinas. Hay una parada de autobús frente a la estación. En el lado este se han construido un aparcamiento para bicicletas y un garaje.
