Mantgum es una aldea en el municipio de Leeuwarden en la provincia de Frisia de los Países Bajos y tenía alrededor de 1,172 ciudadanos en enero de 2017. La aldea se mencionó por primera vez en el siglo XIII como Mantingum, y significa "asentamiento del pueblo de Mante". Mantgum es una aldea terp que se originó alrededor del 700. Una carretera principal solía atravesar la aldea y sobre el terp. La iglesia reformada holandesa fue construida alrededor de 1500 como reemplazo de una iglesia del siglo XIII. Entre 1865 y 1867, fue ampliada y recibió elementos de estilo gótico renovado. La torre fue añadida en 1868.
