Fochteloo es una aldea con alrededor de 400 habitantes en el municipio de Ooststellingwerf en el sureste de Friesland en los Países Bajos. La aldea se mencionó por primera vez en 1408 como Fyochtelo, y probablemente significa bosque húmedo. La iglesia fue demolida en 1832, sin embargo, el campanario con dos campanas ha permanecido.
