Lumele es una aldea en el municipio de Ommen en la provincia neerlandesa de Overijssel, situada al pie de la montaña Lemelerberg. El 1 de enero de 2021, Lumele contaba con 1.345 habitantes. El nombre Lumele está derivado de la arcilla que se encontraba anteriormente en y alrededor de la montaña Lemelerberg. Hallazgos en excavaciones han demostrado que ya hace 2000 años antes del comienzo de nuestra era, personas vivían alrededor de la montaña Lemelerberg. La primera vez que se menciona Lumele es en 1474.
