Skingen es una pequeña aldea en Waadhoeke en la provincia de Frisia, Países Bajos. Tenía una población de alrededor de 115 en enero de 2017. La aldea se mencionó por primera vez alrededor de 1400 como Schengen, que es el nombre de un arroyo. Skingen se desarrolló al comienzo de nuestra era en una altura natural cerca del Middelzee. Se han descubierto artefactos arqueológicos de la época romana. Más tarde, la colina se amplió en un terp. Una iglesia ya había sido construida en el siglo XI o XII cuando en 1877 comenzaron los trabajos en una nueva. La iglesia fue restaurada en 2003.
