Steggerda es un pueblo de la municipalidad neerlandesa de Weststellingwerf. El pueblo consiste en una larga extensión con viviendas y tiene una población de 1,049. El pueblo se mencionó por primera vez en 1408 como Steggerden. La etimología es desconocida. Steggerda es un enclave católico en una región predominantemente protestante. En 1759, se construyó una iglesia clandestina sobre un establo de caballos. En 1839, se construyó la primera iglesia, que fue reemplazada en 1921.
