Steggerda è un villaggio del comune olandese di Weststellingwerf. Il villaggio consiste in un lungo tratto con abitazioni e ha una popolazione di 1.049. Il villaggio è stato menzionato per la prima volta nel 1408 come Steggerden. L'etimologia è sconosciuta. Steggerda è un'enclave cattolica in una regione prevalentemente protestante. Nel 1759, fu costruita una chiesa clandestina sopra un fienile per cavalli. Nel 1839, fu costruita la prima chiesa che fu sostituita nel 1921.
