Wellerlooi es una aldea en el norte de la provincia neerlandesa de Limburgo y forma parte del municipio de Bergen. Aunque ya en el siglo XVII había una capilla en Wellerlooi donde se celebraban misas, no se convirtió en un asentamiento más significativo hasta el transcurso del siglo XIX, como resultado de la explotación de la Heide. En 1888 se estableció la iglesia de Santa Catalina y en 1894 Wellerlooi fue elevado a parroquia.
