Klimmen es una aldea en el sur de Limburgo y hasta 1982 fue un municipio independiente que se incorporó al actual municipio de Voerendaal. En 2021, la aldea tenía aproximadamente 3,070 habitantes, incluyendo los barrios y caseríos adyacentes. El nombre puede sonar llamativo y también proviene del verbo 'klimmen', ya que el lugar se puede alcanzar por diversas carreteras de acceso subiendo una colina. Tanto de día como de noche, el lugar es reconocible desde toda la región por su alta ubicación y la iglesia Remigius iluminada por la noche.
