La Walemberg lleva el nombre de la aldea Walem, que se encuentra en la cima de esta subida en el municipio de Valkenburg. La pendiente tiene más de dos kilómetros de longitud y comienza en Schin op Geul. A mitad de camino hay un tramo empinado de más del 10%.
