Beesd es un pueblo en la provincia holandesa de Gelderland. Es parte del municipio de West Betuwe y se encuentra a unos 16 km al oeste de Tiel. Está situado cerca del río Linge y tiene una estación de tren en la línea de tren de Dordrecht a Geldermalsen. Beesd fue mencionado por primera vez en 1224 como "in Beseth". La etimología no está clara. Beesd fue fundado en la Alta Edad Media en una cresta de arroyo. Se desarrolló en un esdorp alargado.
