Beesd ist ein Dorf in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Es ist Teil der Gemeinde West Betuwe und liegt etwa 16 km westlich von Tiel. Es befindet sich in der Nähe des Flusses Linge und hat einen Bahnhof an der Eisenbahnlinie von Dordrecht nach Geldermalsen. Beesd wurde erstmals 1224 als "in Beseth" erwähnt. Die Etymologie ist unklar. Beesd wurde im frühen Mittelalter an einem Bachrücken gegründet. Es entwickelte sich zu einem länglichen Esdorf.
