Melick es un pueblo en Limburg, en la orilla derecha del Roer, al sur de la ciudad de Roermond. Melick pertenece al municipio de Roerdalen y cuenta con aproximadamente 3.645 habitantes. En Melick se han encontrado huellas de ocupación romana. El nombre romano de Melick era Mederiacum. En un documento de donación de 943, el pueblo se denomina Malialicol. A través de Melick pasaba la Vía de Xanten a Heerlen.
