La Casa Redonda era una casa de campo redonda que se encontraba en los bosques cerca de Nunspeet, en el Zandenbos. Fue demolida en 1967, pero todavía se pueden encontrar vestigios de ella en el paisaje. En 1902, Frank van Vloten compró de los herederos de W.J. Lagerweij un terreno de bosque y paisaje de brezo al sur de Nunspeet, con un tamaño de 360 hectáreas. Era el hijo del filósofo Johannes van Vloten, ingeniero eléctrico y casado con una mujer de no pocos recursos. En la propiedad, Frank van Vloten hizo construir la Casa Redonda. La primera piedra para ello se colocó el 25 de junio de 1906.
