La Waalsdorpervlakte es una llanura en la zona de dunas de Meijendel cerca de Wassenaar y La Haya. La llanura sirvió durante mucho tiempo como campo de entrenamiento militar del Campamento Waalsdorp. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, aquí más de 250 personas fueron ejecutadas por el ocupante alemán. Después de la guerra, este lugar se convirtió en uno de los principales lugares de conmemoración de la guerra en los Países Bajos. El antiguo campo de entrenamiento militar fue cedido en 2016 por el Ministerio de Defensa y pasó a ser gestionado por Dunea. El terreno forma parte del área protegida Natura 2000 "Meijendel & Berkheide".
