La Waalsdorpervlakte est une plaine dans la zone de dunes de Meijendel près de Wassenaar et de La Haye. Cette plaine a longtemps servi de terrain d'exercice militaire pour le camp militaire de Waalsdorp. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, plus de 250 personnes ont été exécutées ici par l'occupant allemand. Après la guerre, cet endroit est devenu l'un des principaux lieux de commémoration des guerres aux Pays-Bas. L'ancien terrain d'exercice militaire a été cédé en 2016 par le ministère de la Défense et est désormais géré par Dunea. Le site fait partie de la zone protégée Natura 2000 « Meijendel & Berkheide ».
