El Grande Goor o el Bredevoortse Broek es una zona natural protegida establecida en 1999, situada entre Bredevoort y 't Klooster, al norte del Slingeplas. Con otras diecinueve áreas, el valle del arroyo forma parte del Paisaje Nacional Winterswijk designado por el gobierno neerlandés en 2005.
La zona se encuentra a lo largo del Schaarsbeek. Este arroyo nace en Korenburgerveen y fluye hacia Slingebeek en Bredevoort. En el área de aves de pradera y en el arroyo sinuoso se pueden encontrar muchas aves de pradera y acuáticas, como patos, playeros y espeoneros. En primavera, aquí anidan codornices, chorlitos y avocetas. Para gestionar los prados, se introducen grandes herbívoros en forma de vacas Galloway. Estas pequeñas vacas negras pueden estar afuera todo el año. Incluso en invierno encuentran suficiente comida. Solo cuando hay un grueso manto de nieve se les proporciona alimento adicional.
