El castillo de Binckhorst es un castillo del siglo XVII con orígenes a principios del siglo XIV. Se encuentra en el distrito de Binckhorst en La Haya, que limita con Rijswijk y Voorburg. Se desconoce cuándo se fundó el castillo de Binckhorst. Se sitúa en el mismo complejo de dunas que el Foro Hadriani en Voorburg, y los restos más antiguos de la zona datan del Neolítico. No se puede descartar que la cercana Binckhorstlaan sea una continuación o sucesora de una vía romana. El nombre Binckhorst se menciona por primera vez en 1076. La palabra -horst, que proviene de la palabra germánica hursti, se refiere a un terreno más elevado y boscoso en una zona pantanosa. La palabra bink también podría referirse a 'altura'.
