El valle de Strijthagerbeek está situado en el municipio de Landgraaf en el sur de Limburgo. Es un área natural gestionada por Natuurmonumenten y se encuentra en el valle del mismo nombre de Strijthagerbeek. En el valle de Strijthagerbeek se pueden encontrar muchas plantas y animales característicos del paisaje de valles de arroyos del sur de Limburgo, como el oro velo parejo, la berro amargo, el martinete y muchas mariposas diurnas. Las empinadas laderas del valle del arroyo están boscosas, mientras que las laderas menos empinadas se utilizan principalmente como praderas y tierras de cultivo.
