The Strijthagerbeekdal is located in the municipality of Landgraaf in South Limburg. It is a nature reserve that is managed by Natuurmonumenten and is located in the valley of the same name of the Strijthagerbeek.In the Strijthagerbeek valley are home to many plants and animals that are characteristic of the South Limburg stream valley landscape, such as pair-leaved goldenveil, bitter field cress, kingfisher and many butterflies. The steep slopes of the stream valley are wooded, the less steep slopes are mainly used as grassland and arable land.
