El Danikerbos es un bosque que flanquea el Geleenbeek. Por un lado hay un gran estanque de pesca y por el otro lado se asciende al Danikerberg. Esta colina es el punto más alto de la zona y solía ser un lugar sombrío. Aquí es donde los miembros de la notoria banda de ladrones, los Bokkenrijders, fueron ahorcados.
Típicos del Danikerberg son los injertos. Estos son pequeños terrenos en pendiente, cubiertos de vegetación, en un área abierta. Aseguran que los animales se muevan (sin ser vistos por el enemigo) y, por lo tanto, son muy importantes. Los injertos son un elemento paisajístico característico de Limburg del Sur. ¡Los investigadores no saben exactamente cómo se formaron!
