Il Danikerbos è una foresta che fiancheggia il Geleenbeek. Da un lato c'è un grande stagno per la pesca e dall'altro lato si sale sul Danikerberg. Questa collina è il punto più alto della zona ed era un luogo tetro. Qui sono stati impiccati i membri del famigerato gruppo di ladri, i Bokkenrijders.
Tipico del Danikerberg sono i grafts. Questi sono piccoli pendii invasi dalla vegetazione in un'area aperta. Essi consentono agli animali di muoversi (non visti dal nemico) e sono quindi molto importanti. I grafts sono un elemento paesaggistico caratteristico per il Sud Limburg. I ricercatori non sanno esattamente come si siano formati!
