La Biesbosch ha permanecido durante mucho tiempo como una zona inhóspita. No es seguro cruzar el puente. Sin embargo, hay planes para restaurarlo. El Bleeke Kil comienza en el pueblo de Nieuwendijk y 'fluye' hacia Hank.
