Es el molino más antiguo de la ciudad. Fue construido antes del siglo XVI y tuvo que ser trasladado. Al principio se situaba cerca de la fortaleza, pero se trasladó ya que el acceso de Havenkanaal fue cortado para proteger la ciudad, por eso aún quedan algunos restos de muralla cerca del molino. Yendo en dirección al puerto. En 1621, en la parte oeste del molino se construyó un bastión llamado azul, y en la parte este el naranja que fue completado en 1652, estas eran dos piezas arquitectónicas de protección de la ciudad.
