Det er den ældste mølle i byen. Den blev bygget før det 16. århundrede og måtte flyttes. I begyndelsen lå den tæt på fæstningen, men den blev flyttet, da adgangen til Havenkanaal blev lukket for at beskytte byen, derfor er der stadig nogle rester af mur nær møllen. Gå i retning mod havnen. I 1621 blev der bygget en bastion kaldet blå i den vestlige del af møllen, og i den østlige del den orange, som blev færdiggjort i 1652, disse var to arkitektoniske beskyttelsesdele af byen.
