En verano, en la granja de ganado joven de la familia Den Hartogh, reina un verdadero silencio. Los establos están vacíos, porque todo el ganado joven está pastando afuera. Sin embargo, no tiene que preocuparse por no ver animales durante su estancia. Alrededor de la granja, puede ver algunas gallinas, ovejas, gatos, terneros o una vaca. Desde su cabaña de heno, tiene una vista despejada sobre el Cattenbroekseplas. El estanque está disponible para actividades recreativas como nadar, pescar, hacer piragüismo o surfear.
