Vlierden es un pueblo y un antiguo municipio dentro del municipio de Deurne en la provincia neerlandesa de Brabante del Norte. El municipio de Vlierden, que fue disuelto en 1926, estaba limitado por el Oude Aa al norte y el Astense Aa al sur. Vlierden consiste en un pueblo rodeado por un gran número de aldeas, situadas principalmente en una cresta de arenas cubiertas a lo largo del Oude Aa. En una copia del siglo XII de un documento del 721, Vlierden se menciona como Fleodrodum. Esta designación significa probablemente 'lugar de residencia, cubierto de saúcos'. El Vlierden más antiguo de la época histórica pudo haber estado cerca de la antigua capilla de Vlierden, que estuvo en pie hasta 1902 en la Oude Torenweg. En este lugar se erigió en 1926 una capilla conmemorativa por la familia De Maurissens. Cerca de este lugar se encuentra una granja muy transformada, en el lugar donde una vez estuvo la 'Kerkhofhoeve', propiedad de la Abadía de Binderen.
