En el cementerio militar georgiano Loladze, situado en la Alta Montaña entre Den Burg y Oudeschild en la isla de Texel, en los Países Bajos, yacen desde 1945 militares que formaron parte del 822º batallón georgiano en la Wehrmacht. En total son 476 personas. En 2005, el presidente georgiano Saakashvili, su esposa Sandra Roelofs y el Patriarca Ilia II de la Iglesia Ortodoxa Georgiana asistieron a la ceremonia anual de conmemoración en el campo de honor.
