Sur le cimetière militaire géorgien Loladze, situé sur la Haute Montagne entre Den Burg et Oudeschild sur l'île néerlandaise de Texel, reposent depuis 1945 des militaires qui faisaient partie du 822e bataillon géorgien de la Wehrmacht. Il s'agit au total de 476 personnes. En 2005, le président géorgien Saakasvili, sa femme Sandra Roelofs et le patriarche Ilia II de l'Église orthodoxe géorgienne ont assisté à la cérémonie commémorative annuelle sur le site d'honneur.
