Vardø es una localidad y municipio de la provincia de Finnmark en el extremo noreste de Noruega. Tiene una población de 2128 habitantes según el censo de 2015.[1]
A Vardø le fue reconocido el rango de municipio el 1 de enero de 1838, aunque para ello fue necesario hacer una excepción. Si bien la ley establecía que todas las ciudades debían estar separadas de sus distritos rurales, a causa de la muy escasa población y pocos votantes, no era posible cumplir con esta condición en Vardø en 1838.
