Outeiro Maior era una freguesía portuguesa del concelho de Vila do Conde, en el distrito de Oporto, con 4,77 km² de área y 369 habitantes ,[1]distribuidos en varios núcleos de población, de los cuales los principales, aparte de la cabecera, son los de Igreja, Quintandura, Friães, Fornelo, Santo Gido, Fontelheiros y Estivada. Su densidad de población era de 77,4 h/km².
La freguesia de Outeiro Maior quedó extinguida en el marco de la reforma administrativa de 2013, fusionándose con las de Bagunte, Ferreiró y Parada para formar una nueva, denominada Unión de las Freguesias de Bagunte, Ferreiró, Outeiro Maior y Parada, con sede en la primera.[2]
