El Ayuntamiento de Lamego está situado justo enfrente del Jardim da República.
Se trata de un gran edificio de dos plantas con fachada lineal, cuyo único atractivo son los numerosos ventanales con marcos de granito. La parte central del edificio, que define el acceso al mismo, presenta en la parte superior una losa de granito con dos maceteros ( uno en cada extremo) y un gran frontón central con el escudo de la ciudad.
A los lados de la Iglesia de Nossa Senhora da Graça y del Parque Isidoro Guedes respectivamente.
