Il municipio di Lamego si trova proprio di fronte al Jardim da República.
Si tratta di un grande edificio a due piani con facciata lineare, il cui unico elemento di spicco sono le numerose finestre con cornici in granito. La parte centrale dell'edificio, che ne definisce l'accesso, presenta nella parte superiore una lastra di granito con due vasi ( uno a ciascuna estremità) e un grande fronte centrale con lo stemma della città.
Ai lati rispettivamente della Chiesa di Nossa Senhora da Graça e del Parco Isidoro Guedes.
