La Iglesia de São Sebastião das Carvalheiras fue fundada a finales del siglo XV y reconstruida en el siglo XVIII.
De esa época son los azulejos que cubren las paredes interiores y que narran la vida y el martirio de San Sebastián . Se trata de una iglesia octogonal con decoración interior de azulejos joaneses barrocos y retablos tallados de estilo neoclásico.
