Esta fuente se encuentra en el centro de la Praça da República.

Se trata de una fuente típica portuguesa , construida en granito en el siglo XVIII . Tiene una base con tres escalones y un pilón hexagonal en el que cae el agua. En medio de este hay una especie de columna, con dos hornillas a diferentes alturas, donde se ubican las conducciones del agua.
