El robo de Norrmalmstorg ocurrió en Suecia en 1973. Es notorio por lo que se conoce después como el síndrome de Estocolmo, acuñado a raíz de él.[1][2]
El 23 de agosto de 1973, Jan-Erik "Janne" Olsson entró en una sucursal del Kreditbanken en Norrmalmstorg, en el centro de Estocolmo. La policía fue alertada inmediatamente y al entrar dos agentes, Olsson les disparó, hiriendo a uno de ellos. Olsson tomó a cuatro rehenes y exigió que se llamase a Clark Olofsson, que en ese momento cumplía una condena,[3] más 3 millones de coronas suecas,[3] dos revólveres, chalecos antibalas, cascos y un vehículo.[2]
