Naval Support Facility Thurmont, comúnmente conocido como Camp David, es un campo de 125 acres destinado a ser una de las residencias del Presidente de los Estados Unidos. Camp David es parte del Catoctin Mountain Park, un área recreativa situada en el condado de Frederick , a las afueras de Washington DC.
Fue construido en 1942 por el Presidente Franklin Delano Roosevelt con el nombre de Shangri-La, y bajo su sucesor, Harry Truman, se convirtió en residencia oficial. En 1953 Dwight David Eisenhower la renombró como Camp David, en recuerdo de su nieto.
