Le Naval Support Facility Thurmont, plus connu sous le nom de Camp David, est le lieu de villégiature officiel du président des États-Unis. D'une superficie de 50 hectares , il se situe dans la zone récréative du parc de Catoctin Mountain dans le comté de Frederick dans le Maryland, une région montagneuse à 93 km au nord-ouest de Washington.
Le nom de camp David a été donné par le président Eisenhower en l'honneur de son père et de son petit-fils tous les deux appelés David.
