El Upper East Side es un barrio en el distrito metropolitano de Manhattan, en la ciudad estadounidense de Nueva York. Se encuentra ubicado entre el Central Park y el río East River, abarcando un área de 4,7 km².
Es uno de los barrios de mayor prestigio de la ciudad de Nueva York. Situado en la mitad este de la isla de Manhattan, este barrio acoge a los neoyorquinos más adinerados. En la Quinta Avenida y Park Avenue se encuentran algunos de los apartamentos más caros de la ciudad. La Quinta Avenida es, además, una de las principales calles comerciales de la ciudad, en la que se concentran las mejores firmas de ropa, joyería y artículos de lujo.
