En 2011 su población era de 31 155 habitantes, de los cuales 10 094 vivían en la villa y el resto en las 92 pedanías del municipio.[1] La gran mayoría de los habitantes del municipio son bosníacos , con minorías de musulmanes y serbios .[2]
