Sankt Veit im Pongau est une commune autrichienne du district de Sankt Johann im Pongau dans l'État de Salzbourg.La communauté est située à 50 kilomètres au sud de Salzbourg. La rivière Salzach coule d'ouest en est jusqu'à Sankt Veit; là, il tourne autour d'un coude et traverse le bassin de Bischofshofen et Sankt Johann du sud au nord. Au nord se trouve le Hochglocker des montagnes de Dienten , au sud se trouve le Höllwand du groupe Ankogel .
