La gare principale de Klagenfurt est une gare de passage située dans la ville de Klagenfurt, dans l'état autrichien de Carinthie, et compte jusqu'à 190 trains par jour, ce qui en fait l'un des nœuds de transport les plus importants du sud de l'Autriche. En 1863, Klagenfurt a été raccordée à la ligne du Sud et une gare centrale, Klagenfurt-St. Ruprecht, a été construite. À l'époque, Klagenfurt devait devenir le centre des chemins de fer en Carinthie, mais les anciens édiles de Klagenfurt ont rejeté cette idée, si bien que c'est aujourd'hui la gare principale de Villach qui occupe cette position.
