La chapelle de Mariahilf se trouve dans le village de Rinderschinken, près du pont sur la Schwarzach, qui relie Rinderschinken à Mariahilf. L'église est située à environ 2,5 kilomètres à l'ouest du centre du village de St. Jakob in Defereggen, à une altitude d'environ 1422 m d'altitude.
