Gedinne a été une grande nouvelle pour les amoureux de la nature en septembre 2011. Un loup a été observé sur le territoire de Gedinne. En Belgique, c’était il y a plus de 100 ans qu’un loup n’avait pas été vu dans la nature. Le loup de Gedinne a même été filmé par l’émission de la VRT « Dieren in Nesten ». Selon la légende, le dernier loup de Belgique a été abattu par le roi Léopold Ier dans la première moitié du 19ème siècle.
