La Tour des Pigeons faisait partie de l'ancienne abbaye augustinienne fondée à la fin du 11ème siècle et supprimée pendant la Révolution française. La Tour des Pigeons a été construite en 1710 et, selon une légende, était destinée à être une surprise pour l'abbé Fraeys à son retour de son voyage à Rome. La Tour des Pigeons compte 1132 niches.
