Saint-Hubert est une ville francophone de Belgique située en Région wallonne dans la province de Luxembourg.
Le site, occupé déjà par les gallo-romains, se développe à partir du haut Moyen Âge, grâce aux premiers clercs installés par Pépin II, puis aux bénédictins, à leurs écoles interne et externe, aux pèlerinages venant d'Ardenne, de Famenne, du Lothier et de Rhénanie, mais aussi grâce au marché régional et aux foires qui accompagneront la ville naissante jusqu'aux temps modernes.
