Wépion est une section de la ville belge de Namur . Située dans la partie méridionale de Namur, Wépion se trouve en bord de Meuse tout en ayant une partie ancienne sur les hauteurs. C'était une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1977. Avant le régime révolutionnaire françaisla commune de Wépion n’était pas aussi étendue qu’actuellement, ellene comportait notamment pas la seigneurie de Fooz .
